Dear prospective participants of GADEST 2026,
If you wish to present your work at the conference, please prepare a one-page A4 abstract (maximum 300 words for the main text) in Word format (.doc or .docx), following the instructions provided in the abstract template (download available at this link). Figures and tables may be included on one additional page, if needed.
Abstracts must be submitted via the Indico platform, using the submission link available at the bottom of this page. During the submission process, you will be asked to create an account and provide the relevant information for your contribution. The abstract file must be uploaded within the submission form. In addition, please specify:
- Title
- Authors and presenting author
- Preferred presentation format: Oral or Poster
- Conference topic
- Intention to submit a manuscript to the special issue (planned / not planned)
Presentation formats
- Invited presentations: 30 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A
- Oral presentations: 15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A
- Poster presentations: standard poster size A0, portrait orientation
Abstract Evaluation
All abstracts will be evaluated by the International Program Committee (IPC) and the conference chairs, who will assess their suitability and determine the final presentation format. The outcome of the evaluation will be communicated to the corresponding author by email.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts, together with the conference program, which will be made available to participants before the conference.
Authors of accepted contributions may submit a manuscript to a regular Special Issue of Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing (Elsevier, IF=4.6).
Please note: The publication will be a regular special issue of Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, not a conference proceedings. Articles must fulfil the typical standards and requirements of the journal. Acceptance of a contribution for presentation at the conference based on the abstract submission is mandatory, however, it does not automatically guarantee inclusion of the publication in the special issue.
