Food
Being in the downtown, strolling around the school venue should suffice to stumble upon many suitable places; however, as your hotel may be in a different part of the city, on the school map there are lists of some nice place where to have breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Caffe/pasticcerie
Caffe and pasticcerie (patisseire) are where you can enjoy coffee, hot chocolate (try it), tea and local sweets.
Bistro/pub/osterie
Easier and quicker (and cheaper) than restaurants, do not discount them too easily: some may surprise you for the quality and variety of what they offer, especially those closest to the downtown.
Restaurants
From tavern to fine restaurant, you can tailor your choice from seafood to meat and vegetarian. Awareness of celiac disease and other allergies is common, so feel free to ask if specific allergenes are not reported on the menu.
