The Interdisciplinary Challenges conference series covers a broad variety of topics at the interface between the physics of complex systems and biology, from soft and active matter, to ecology, to biological and machine learning.
This conference aims to connect early-career researchers from diverse backgrounds. It is a fantastic opportunity for PhD students, postdocs and recent permanent researchers to exchange ideas and foster collaborations in a dynamical environment promoting diversity, equality and inclusion.
Sustainable mobility is strongly encouraged, with monetary prizes awarded as incentives.
Intcha27 will be held from May 3 to May 7 at the University of Padua, Italy. Previous editions were held in Edinburgh (2022), Dresden (2024), Heidelberg (2025) and Cargèse (2026).
