Advanced Calculus for Fundamental Interactions

Europe/Rome
Ramona Groeber, Manoj Kumar Mandal (INFN and University of Padova), Pierpaolo Mastrolia (Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia Università di Padova), Ennio Salvioni (University of Padua)
Description

Given the growing relevance of advanced computational aspects in all disciplines, which have been always benefitting from the mutual developments of new computing infrastructures, on the one hand, and of new algorithms, on the other one, this one-day meeting is dedicated to computational aspects, algorithms and methods needed by the research activities performed by members of the Theory Group.

The goal of this meeting is to identify research directions which can be of common interest and/or that may require interdisciplinary synergies, to find solutions which can improve and ameliorate existing algorithms and/or to discuss new computational strategies that might benefit from recent developments in advanced mathematics and computer science.

Venues:

Morning session: aula P2 at Paolotti from 9:00 to 12:35
