The social dinner will be on Thursday, September 7th, at 8:00pm in the "Sala Rossa" at Caffè Pedrocchi.
The "Sala Rossa" is the heart of Caffè Pedrocchi. Here you can find the superb marble coffee counter designed by Jappelli, elliptical in shape and displaying six lion paws at the end.
The bas-reliefs and the clock still working above the counter had a symbolic function in the 19th century, as they reminded the people of Padua and the visitors that this was the "Café without doors", a café that never closed.
On the walls opposite the windows are some paintings of the two hemispheres of the world map in stereographic projection with the north at the bottom and geographical names in French.
