Social events

Two guided tours have been organised, each lasting about 1 hour on a slot between 17:00 and 19:00 on Wednesday, May 28th. Participants interested in taking part in one of these visits are asked to express their preference in the registration form.

One possible visit is to the Museo Poleni, which is a 5 minute walk from the main Conference venue. The Museo Giovanni Poleni, managed by the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padua, offers a journey through the history of physics, showcasing instruments from the 16th century to modern times, including those from the renowned 18th-century Cabinet of Physics established by Giovanni Poleni.

The other possible visit is to the Orto Botanico, which is a 20 minute walk from the main Conference venue. The Orto Botanico of Padova, established in 1545, is the world's oldest academic botanical garden still in its original location, renowned for its historical design and diverse plant collections.
