Carbon Burning: Theory, Astrophysics and Experiments

The workshop aims to merge and deeply discuss recent results from the main experimental groups, active in the measurement of the cross section of the ¹²C+¹²C reactions. The workshop is going to be organized to have a session for the detailed description of the data and their uncertainty. One of the main session of the workshop will be dedicated to the discussion and comperison between the different datasets. The astrophysical impact of the data, as well as the open questions will be investigated and evaluated thanks to the expertise of theoretical groups, focused on stellar models. 

Ultimately the workshop aims to define a shared roadmap with the  goals for the future measurements, opening the path to collaborations among the groups.
