Non-relativistic strings propagate in a non-Lorentzian target space and thus represent a potentially interesting playground for studying non-AdS holography. In this talk we focus on nonrelativistic strings propagating in AdS5xS5 found by Gomis, Gomis and Kamimura, and discuss topics such as classical string solutions, semiclassical expansion of the action (eventually useful to define a perturbative S-matrix), and classical integrability. We will highlight the many different aspects the theory presents when compared with the relativistic one and the challenges it poses.
