Description
We study the mixing between a neutron and a hidden neutron within the framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime. We show that in static and spherically symmetric geometries, the expectation value of the energy-momentum tensor in the mixed vacuum can take the form of a pressureless fluid. In the weak-field limit, we derive an effective condensate density that modifies Poisson’s equation and generates a Yukawa correction to the Newtonian potential. This potential may account for the flat curves of spiral galaxies. In this perspective, neutron--mirror-neutron mixing could contribute to dark matter.
