Description
At least two of the key claims of the classical Big Bang theory, which concerned the very point of origin of the Universe, remain strangely unscientific even today: a) the universe arose from "nothing" and b) it then expanded inflationary.
I will briefly examine some discrepancies between theory and observations and propose a different starting point, attempting to build a model of the universe based on existing observational data.
