Since the start of the Large Hadron Collider, determining the properties of top quarks has been a vital point of the LHC research program. Only recently, it has been understood how top-quark properties can even be utilized to probe quantum entanglement, thereby addressing fundamental questions of quantum mechanics at the LHC. This talk will present recent measurements from the CMS experiment concerning top-quark properties, along with their interpretation as quantum measurements, culminating in the observation of entanglement in top quark pair production at CMS.
