Description

Recent measurements of the electroweak penguin decays B meson decays exhibit tensions with respect to the Standard Model predictions. One of these channels is the B->K*μμ decay that is considered a golden channel for New Physics searches. The seminar will present in details the recent angular analysis of the aforementioned decay channel using the full LHCb dataset of
3 fb−1. The obtained results show a 3.4 sigma tension from the Standard Model prediction.
Furthermore, other measurements of b -> s... processes that show consistent deviations will be discussed. Finally, results of the global fit these anomalies will be shown, which points towards the modification of C9 Wilson coefficient with a significance over 4 sigma.
