Description
Rare decays generated by Flavor Changing Neutral Currents are a powerful tool to test the quantum structure of the Standard Model and obtain indirect hints of New Physics. They can be used, together with semileptonic modes, also to define observables relevant to test extensions of the Standard Model featuring Lepton Flavor Universality violation. A brief review of the latest results about rare and semileptonic decays published by the LHCb Collaboration will be presented.
