Description
Biophysics is a scientific discipline that uses the tools and the methods of physics to study
biological systems. Due to its accuracy in performing single-molecule force-spectroscopy
experiments, Optical Tweezers provide an excellent tool for such an interdisciplinary field. In this talk, I will show a couple of applications of Optical Tweezers experiments. On the one hand, I will present an example of how this technique can be useful in drug development. On the other hand, I will show how Optical Tweezers can provide a testing platform for polymer models.
