DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Stefano Profumo (UC Santa Cruz)\n\nPrimordial black
holes\, if produced in the early Universe\, may not evaporate completely b
ut instead leave behind stable or long-lived Planck-mass remnants\, or "Pl
anck-tons". I review theoretical arguments for such relics from quantum gr
avity frameworks\, including generalized uncertainty principles\, loop qua
 ntum gravity\, and string-theoretic corrections\, which suggest a breakdow
n of semiclassical evaporation near the Planck scale. I discuss the result
ing relic abundance and show that even a tiny initial PBH fraction can acc
ount for the observed dark matter\, with relics behaving as ultra-cold\, c
ollisionless matter today. I outline possible detection avenues\, includin
g high-frequency gravitational waves from evaporation and mergers\, electr
omagnetic signatures of charged relics\, and direct mechanical probes. I a
rgue that Planck-scale relics provide a testable link between quantum grav
 ity\, early-Universe cosmology\, and dark matter.\n\nhttps://indico.dfa.un
