DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Gonzalo Villa de la Viña (DAMTP\, University of Cam
 bridge)\n\nWe study the early universe dynamics and gravitational wave sig
 natures of cosmic superstrings in the presence of dynamical moduli. Field 
 displacements in moduli space result in exotic equations of state and vari
 ations of the tension of the strings. After a discussion of the effect of 
 varying tension in the worldsheet dynamics\, we study the properties of co
 smic superstring networks in these cosmologies. In the simplest example of
  the Large Volume Scenario of string compactifications\, PTA and BBN const
 raints result in a prediction for a tilt in the gravitational wave spectru
 m in the LISA band. In other scenarios\, the effect of varying tension res
 ults in a high-frequency spectral index which cannot occur for constant te
