BFSS from a modern viewpoint

Following the TASI lectures, I will review the BFSS matrix quantum mechanics from an AdS/CFT perspective. I will discuss the D0 brane holography, the decoupling argument; the D0 brane matrix quantum mechanics and, depending on time: scattering in the ’t Hooft limit and mention of other techniques.
