Description
The Standard Model is so far the most precise and accurate Theory of Nature that we have found. Still, many open questions remain. One is the origin of fermion masses, usually referred to as the Flavour Puzzle: why are all fermion masses so different? And why do they come up in three identical copies? A possible solution is provided by Flavour Deconstruction, a theoretical scenario that has gained great attention in the recent years. In this talk, I am going to provide a very accessible introduction to this framework, following with some of the main phenomenological effects with a deep focus on the neutrino sector.
