Description
ATLAS and CMS are currently hunting for rare Higgs boson decays. Decays to two leptons and one photon can probe exotic couplings as well as provide handles on CP properties of the Higgs boson. In the ATLAS analysis presented here we focus on events with an invariant dilepton mass below 30 GeV, which are dominated by a virtual photon exchange. The main experimental challenge is the small opening angle between the two leptons. Excitingly, we have found evidence for this rare decay.
