Description

The study of CP violation is fundamental in unraveling the cosmic puzzle of matter-antimatter asymmetry. This seminar delves into CP violation in the decays of D0 to KsKs and Bs to J/Psi Phi, utilizing data from Run 2 of the LHC and the CMS detector.

These studies not only scrutinize CP violation within the decay itself but also delve into the intricacies of flavor mixing. The measurement employs an innovative flavor tagging approach, leveraging machine learning to improve accuracy by using information from both sides of the decay.

Ultimately, this research provides the first evidence of CP violation in Bs to J/psi Phi decays, marking a significant milestone for
forthcoming CMS efforts.
