Description
Abstract: In recent years it has been appreciated how certain mathematical structures, known as Positive Geometries, underlie much of the physics of scattering amplitudes while providing powerful new tools for their computation.

In this talk I will illustrate some of these ideas taking Feynman integrals as an example, and studying them through the lenses of the associated geometry. In particular, I will present a new method to compute the Laurent expansion of an integral in the dimensional regulator in terms of finite integrals.
