Description

Dynamical Cobordisms implement the swampland cobordism conjecture in the framework of effective field theory and provide a powerful method for exploring infinite distance limits of moduli field spaces. They realize end of the world configurations as codimension 1 boundaries in spacetime, ETW branes, reached as singularities of the metric at finite spacetime distance at which scalars go off to infinite distance in field space. In the talk I will consider theories with multiple scalars and general potentials. I will construct explicit local solutions for these theories describing intersecting ETW branes, so that different infinite field space limits coexist in the same spacetime, and can be simultaneously probed by paths approaching the ETW brane intersection. These configurations are interesting to study many different physical setups, in particular I will use them to probe the network of infinite distance limits in Calabi-Yau moduli spaces.
