Description
I will discuss the bulk gravitational dual of the double scaled SYK model. The dual in question is a theory of two dimensional dilaton gravity with a sine dilaton potential. The holographic duality involves certain non-standard ingredients. In particular, naively certain semi classical features of DSSYK seem to be at odds with a dual black hole description. I will explain how those naive mismatches get resolved. This includes a bulk explanation of fake temperature (or tomperature). I will furthermore discuss the equivalence of this theory with the q-Schwarzian theory, an exactly solvable quantum mechanics.
