Description

Coincidence measurements of breakup fragments were carried out for the 6,7Li + 209Bi reactions at energies around the Coulomb barrier by detector array with a large solid angle. Different breakup modes are distinguished clearly and some new breakup modes are discovered, such as 7Li -> α + t breakup mode in 6Li + 209Bi system and 7Li ->6He + p breakup mode in 7Li +209Bi system. The breakup yields can be separated into prompt and delayed components based on the relative energies of the breakup fragments. The cross-section information of the breakup channels is being analyzed after correcting for the detection efficiency of the array.
