Astronomy PhD students will present their research projects, highlighting the exciting results they have achieved over the past year.

We warmly encourage all teaching staff and researchers from DFA and INAF to participate, either in person or via Zoom. Last year, very few professors and researchers participated, which was discouraging for the students. This workshop marks the starting point of a possible astronomical career, and seeing that their work is acknowledged and valued by the community is an important source of motivation.

Your presence and engagement are therefore invaluable: by asking questions and sharing your perspectives, you can inspire and challenge these early-career researchers, helping them to refine their ideas and even open up new directions for future investigations.

This workshop is also a unique opportunity to strengthen the connection between the new generation of astronomers and the more experienced members of our community, while encouraging dialogue across different research areas.
